A different kind of mold company.
Most mold companies you'll find in San Diego are remediation contractors — they remove mold, and they offer testing as a way to win the remediation job. Wiseman Mold Inspection was built on the opposite premise: you deserve an inspector whose only product is the truth about your property.
Founded in 2014, we've performed thousands of inspections across San Diego County — from Mission Hills bungalows and La Jolla coastal homes to Hillcrest condos, Pacific Beach rentals, North Park craftsman remodels, and downtown commercial spaces. Every inspection is conducted personally by a certified inspector. There are no sales reps, no franchise script, and no commission for recommending unnecessary work.

Why independence matters
When a remediation company performs your inspection, their incentive is to find work. When an independent firm performs your inspection, the only incentive is accuracy. We document what we find — and just as importantly, what we don't find. If your property doesn't need testing, we'll tell you. If it doesn't need remediation, you'll have written proof.
That independence is also why real estate agents, property managers, attorneys, and insurance adjusters across San Diego use our reports for objective documentation. Our findings are clear enough for homeowners and rigorous enough for legal and insurance contexts.
Our equipment
We invest in professional-grade equipment because the quality of the data drives the quality of the report. On every inspection you'll see calibrated pin and pinless moisture meters, a thermal imaging camera, a digital hygrometer for relative humidity and dew point analysis, calibrated air sampling pumps with spore-trap cassettes, and tools for collecting tape lift, swab, and bulk surface samples.
Rooted in the community
We live and work in San Diego. Our office at 3318 5th Ave, San Diego, CA 92103 sits in the heart of Hillcrest, and most appointments are within a 25-minute drive. We understand local construction styles — from 1920s craftsman homes with original lath-and-plaster walls to modern stucco builds, coastal humidity exposure in Pacific Beach and La Jolla, and the unique HVAC challenges of mid-century homes throughout Mission Hills and Kensington.
